NSS is Gandhiji's scheme to channelize the youth energy for constructive action. National Service Scheme (NSS) is a platform where students can directly interact with society. RBANM's NSS facilitates a space for the student to pursue real issues in our country. Students should have some obligations to the society or the nation to which they belong. It is also a process of learning when students visit a field or serve personally. So, NSS is that platform which facilitates opportunities to do for society, and at the same time they acquire diverse knowledge. There is the great role of the youth, particularly young-educated persons to the society and nation-building. They have huge potential and enthusiasm to dedicate themselves to reform and improvement. The real success of the learning is to apply gained knowledge, and NSS-RBANM's symbolizes the same. RBANM's-NSS contributes in diverse fields, especially by its academic excellence. Besides these, NSS-RBANM's contributes in the field of up liftment of society. NSS-RBANM's, consisting of a group of passionate students who sincerely want to work for society, especially for the needy people of the society. They have been working in the campus and outside. Students of RBANM's are well known for their unique and innovative ideas.

Various activities by NSS:

There are some remarkable social service activities done by the unit.This may contribute towards not only betterment of human society but bio-diversity as well. N.S.S organizes annual camps in villages. Villagers are made aware of the welfare schemes of the Government. Through these camps the volunteers learn civic sense and responsibility.
